Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the Snap Poker website, waitlist, and any service that links to these Terms. By accessing the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering a contract, and permitted to use poker-related services where you live. Do not use Snap Poker where doing so is prohibited.

Website and waitlist

The current website provides information about Snap Poker and lets you express interest in future access. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee admission, launch timing, geographic availability, features, or pricing. We may change, pause, or discontinue the website or waitlist at any time.

You agree to provide an email address you are authorized to use. You may unsubscribe from product messages at any time.

Snap Poker service

Snap Poker is being developed as software infrastructure for private poker home games and related social features. Snap Poker does not act as a player, stake players, offer house-banked games, or take a percentage of pots as rake.

Descriptions of planned products are informational and may change before release. Separate product rules, purchase terms, tournament rules, or community standards may apply when those features become available.

Lawful use

You are responsible for understanding laws that apply to you, including rules concerning poker, wagering, tournaments, age, location, taxes, and money transmission. A rake-free design is a product characteristic, not legal advice or a representation that every game is lawful.

You may not use the site to facilitate unlawful activity, evade geographic or age restrictions, collect unauthorized fees, launder money, commit fraud, or misrepresent Snap Poker.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the site, probe or bypass security, submit automated or fraudulent waitlist entries, scrape the site except as permitted by law, transmit malicious code, impersonate another person, infringe rights, harass others, or use the site in a way that could damage Snap Poker or its users. We may investigate misuse and restrict access.

Intellectual property

Snap Poker and its licensors own the website, software, brand, designs, text, graphics, and other materials, excluding content owned by third parties. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the site for its intended purpose.

Snap Poker and its logo are marks of Snap Poker. Y Combinator and the Y Combinator logo are trademarks of Y Combinator and are shown only to identify Snap Poker's relationship with Y Combinator. No third-party mark displayed on this site is transferred or licensed to you.

Feedback and submissions

If you voluntarily send feedback or ideas, you give Snap Poker a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and adapt them without restriction or compensation. Do not send confidential information through the waitlist or general contact addresses.

Third-party services

The site may link to services we do not control. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement unless we say otherwise.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or block access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, abuse the waitlist, or if access must be limited for operational reasons. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination remain in effect.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and waitlist are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, gambling, or tax advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snap Poker and its affiliates, officers, employees, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the site. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the free website or waitlist will not exceed US $100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Snap Poker and its affiliates, officers, employees, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights. This does not apply where prohibited by law or to the extent a claim results from Snap Poker's own misconduct.

Disputes and applicable law

Before filing a formal claim, email legal@playsnappoker.com and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. These Terms are governed by applicable law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections where they live. Any unresolved claim may be brought in a court that has lawful jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or your ability to report a concern to a regulator.

General terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the current site. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, or sale. Headings are for convenience only.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the site develops. We will post a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
